Well what enthusiasm and optimism the village people of Kanthi have…….making the bricks in preparation for the Dispensary (Medical Clinic) before we have held the Fundraising Afternoon tea/Movie function on Sunday, 17th August with the screening of One Hundred Foot Journey.
Daniel sent me photos this morning and please note in Photo No.1 the ‘kiln’ in which they place the bricks to be fired! The bricks are placed in the inside and a fire is lit in the small arched openings which are then closed with a top placed over it and the bricks are then fired.

Afternoon tea at 3.00 p.m. and the screening in both Cinemas at 4.00 p.m.
