I have been corresponding with Hon. Rachael Nyamai MP of the Kenyan Government regarding further development for the children of Kanthi. In Bulletin Update No. 17 Rachael had requested that I might purchase land to build a Primary School, I responded in the negative and recommended that her Government should purchase the land and build a Primary School. I have regularly asked her about providing Daniel with a Community Grant for the school project…… now read Rachael’s email which I received yesterday:
Dear Helen,
Thank you for the email. I am well and we thank God his blessings. Yes we did allocate for the purchase of the land. And we are also going to support construction of a classroom at a cost of ksh. 850,000. I thank you for supporting the wonderful people of Kanthi and more so Daniel’s dream. He is a dedicated man of God. Very well focused on the project.
We hope to one day open the 8 classrooms full of kids. This is the his dream and I know your dream is close to this. Wishing you all the best……

Rachael being an educated woman realizes the value of education for her people and she is a politician who is working for the good of her constituents. Teresia advised me that Ksh 850,000.00 should build the required number of classrooms. She said that with the Community Grant for the land Ksh 160,000.00 plus the money to build the classrooms Ksh 850,000.00 that is an amazingly generous contribution by the Government to the people of Kanthi.
With your support we have changed the lives of the people of Kanthi and with education this will ensure that this change is sustained.
