Update Bulletin 24

As I mentioned Daniel advised that he was forwarding photos and an update of the projects, and true to his word here they are. Firstly his letter updating the projects as follows:

30/4/2014

DEAR HELLEN,

First I say sorry for not telling you how we are doing since December 2013 to date ,it was not my wish for that .I have been undergoing some difficulties but now I wish to tell you some information .we had nice lunch that you will see receipt as per lunch.

NURSERY SCHOOL

I have attached the receipt of chairs and tables of the nursery class. Hon. Rachael kaki supported us with two hundred thousand for land purchasing for primary school , now we want to open the bank account number of the school so we may receive the cheque

TOMATOES

We have started second lot of planting some potatoes, attached are photos of the green house (potatoes). Second term will start next week. i will continue giving you more information about ourselves .thank you

Yours faithfully

DANIEL NTHEEU

The following is a copy of the receipt for the Nursery furniture which was for five tables and thirty chairs with stained finish. Also are the receipts for the Christmas 2013 luncheon.

I would certainly like to congratulate Daniel for his diligence in accountability of the monies forwarded to him for the various project. The ongoing care he is willing to give for the good of his people is commendable. This is also evident in Ruth’s enthusiasm in undertaking the First Aid training…..a remarkable couple!

The following are photos of the newly planted potato crops and filling the additional water tank for the dripper system.

Ruth said they were delighted with the sale of the tomatoes at the markets. As mentioned previously part of the money from the tomato sales pays the salary of the Nursery school teacher. She also said that now they have been allocated the money from the Government to purchase the land to build the Primary school, with water the women will be able to make and fire the bricks and so build the school as they did the Water Kiosk above.

What a difference from September, 2011…….thanks to all those who have supported the projects. Ruth said you will never fully understand the extent of your wonderful gestures, the transformation of these peoples lives.

Cheers,

HELEN
